Do you have a bolt-on package for other outboard motors?

No, we only offer a completely built Freedom Outboard Motor.

Can I run my motor in salt water?

Yes, Freedom motors are fully closed loop, there is no difference between running in salt water or fresh water.

Does a Freedom Outboard engine require more or less maintenance than a traditional outboard engine?

No, a freedom Outboard engine operates with the same maintenance intervals as a traditional outboard engine.

Do I need to modify anything on my boat to accommodate a Freedom motor?

No, our Freedom motor has the same transom mount bolt pattern.

Can I run my motor out of the water?

Yes, as long as the coolant tank is filled with 50/50 Ethylene Glycol, the motor can be run out of water, however, we do not recommend running for longer than 10 minutes out of water as the temperature will rise and could result in damage to the motor.

Do I need to use a jackplate?

No, a Freedom Outboard engine will bolt directly to the transom like a traditional outboard engine, however, depending on the application a performance improvement could be achieved by using a jackplate.
